1. FEES & PAYMENT INFORMATION UPON REGISTRATION

1.1 Fees Paid Upon Registration

Fees are to be paid monthly (standard package), every 3 months, 6 months or yearly based on the package of choice.

Fees paid upon registration has four components:

a) Registration Fees

The Registration Fee is $30 nett, payable as a one-time, non-refundable payment.

b) Monthly Fee

For instance,  your first class is on 1 March, this is the payment for the month of March. There shall be no proration of regular monthly fees; unless at the point of enrolment.

c) Final Month Fee (FMF)

The Final Month Fee is equivalent to one month’s fees and will be applied towards your child’s final four lessons. This Final Month Fee is applicable to our Standard, Exclusive & Deluxe Packages only and is strictly NON-REFUNDABLE.

For Example:
– Standard Package $235 (Monthly Fee) + $235 (Final Month Fee)
– Exclusive Package $223 (3 months Fee) + $223 (Final Month Fee)
– Deluxe Package $218.50 (6 months Fee) + $218.50 (Final Month Fee)
– Supreme Package – Final Month Fee not applicable

d) Material Fees

$25 per term will be collected upon registration. Material Fees are payable every 3 months (Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun Etc). Prorations of material fees are not applicable. You will be given the full 3 months worth of notes regardless of when you join the class.

1.2 No deposit will be collected for all EduMO Academy Programmes.

1.3 One calendar month notice is required in an event of withdrawal before the end of the Academic Year.

1.4 Fees are to be paid monthly, every 3 months, 6 months or yearly based on the package of choice.

1.5 All fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.

2. MONTHLY FEE (STANDARD PACKAGE) & PAYMENT INFORMATION

2.1 Fees are due in advance and must be paid by the 30th each month. You may make payment before the payment notice.

2.2 If payment is received late, a Late Payment Fee (LPF) of $10/week will be charged. A payment is considered late if it is not received before the 1st day of the month.

Late Payment Fee (LPF) All monthly fees must be paid by the stipulated due date. A Late Payment Fee (LPF) will be imposed on overdue payments as follows.

Example: April fees are due by 30 March.

The applicable LPF will be as follows:
– 1–7 April: Monthly Fee + $10 LPF
– 8–14 April: Monthly Fee + $20 LPF

Important: Any payment that remains outstanding for more than 2 weeks from the due date will result in the child’s automatic disenrolment.

In the event of disenrolment, the Final Month Fee paid during registration will be applied towards the outstanding fees.

Parents who wish to maintain their child’s enrolment are required to ensure that all fees are paid promptly and kept up to date, and that the Final Month Fee remains retained with the centre.

3. REPLACEMENT CLASS POLICY

3.0 Students may switch from physical to online lessons once per month. Any additional switches within the same month will require the submission of a valid medical certificate.

3.1 Replacement classes will be granted to those who are unable to come on Medical grounds.

3.2 If a student is unable to attend class(es) due to any other reasons besides that of Clause 3.1, parents should inform our Administrator through WhatsApp at least one week in advance. Clause 3.8 will be applied if 1 week’s notice is not given.

3.3 Due to the limited space availability, make up classes will be arranged via Zoom; unless specified and on best effort basis.

3.4 We allow one replacement lesson per month with at least one week’s notice. The replacement lesson has to be attended within the same week in any of our existing group classes if there are available slots.

3.5 There will be no classes on designated public holidays; unless specified.

3.6 Should a class fall on a public holiday with ongoing classes on that said day, there will be no replacement classes.

3.7 Replacement class(es) must be completed within the calendar month of the class(es) missed.

3.8 The provision of replacement classes is subject to the discretion of the Centre Manager. EduMO Academy reserves the right to refuse the provision of replacement class(es) should the respective above mentioned criteria (Clauses 3.1 to 3.3) be unfulfilled.

4. MISCELLANEOUS POLICIES

4.1 Child Protection:

While in the centre, EduMO Academy has a certain ‘Duty of Care’ for your child. For Child Protection purposes, we ask that parents follow the guidelines laid out below:

4.1.1 Students should leave the Centre after class punctually, accompanied by a parent/guardian.

4.1.2 Aside from the classroom(s), parents/guardians/caregivers should not leave their children unsupervised in the Centres.

4.1.3 Only EduMO Academy’s staff and students are allowed in the classroom at all times.

4.1.4 EduMO Academy is not responsible for the safety of students who leave the Centres.
